On June 20th, 2023, Sisters in Crime announced that I was awarded the 2023 Eleanor Taylor Bland Crime Fiction Writers of Color Award. This is a huge milestone in my writing life, and I’m so appreciative of Sisters in Crime for providing opportunities like these for marginalized writers.
I’m working on a piece that will hopefully describe all of my many thoughts on this experience, but for now I’ll leave you with how I’m feeling…thrilled, honored and forever grateful. Thank you, SinC!
